Great North Service Dogs

We are a charity supporting retired Police, Fire and Rescue dogs in the North East of England.

Upon retirement, Service dogs do not qualify for pet insurance and sadly do not receive any financial support from the forces they served with. For handlers and members of the public who take on these fantastic animals at the end of their careers, their ongoing care and veterinary bills become their sole responsibility which can lead into thousands of pounds. 

Our mission is to provide financial support for the care and medical expenses these dogs need to ensure they can live a long and healthy life into their retirement.
